A directional antenna is purposely designed to achieve a high gain in a narrow strip of space and is the best solution when communication between two points remains constant. If standard cellular communication is required from a fixed point to the network provider, then our Snyper tool can pin point the best provider and fixed tower position. A directional antenna will then give the most reliable connection.
Conversely when a device is mobile, an omni-directional antenna will enable the strongest signals to pick up from the closest or best performing network tower antenna. In a lot of instances, a large directional antenna is far too cumbersome and a small omni design is sufficient to provide the required connection.
